PRINT SHOP FAQ

PRINTING

Orders are professionally printed on premium Lustre paper using archival inks. We’ve selected Lustre as our standard paper choice for its subtle sheen, rich colours and depth of tones. Images are printed with a ¼” white border within the size listed making them easier to mat and frame.

Prints are all hand-stamped on the back.

Unless noted in the description, all prints are open-edition prints. This allows us to keep our prints affordable.

Size options available on each print listing are chosen to allow the best cropping for that specific image. We offer prints in standard sizes making it easier for you to mat and frame.

FRAMING

We do not currently offer framing since we haven’t found a framer who can print & frame to our standards and safely ship to Canada, US and Internationally. We offer prints in standard sizes to make it easier for you to find mats and frames that best suit your style, space and budget. 

PRODUCTION & SHIPPING

Production Time - Prints are ready to ship in 5-7 business days. Image Transfers are shipped within 2-3 business days of ordering.

Packaging - Prints up to 11x14” will be shipped in a plastic sleeve within a sturdy flat envelope to keep it safe. Prints 16x20” and larger will be rolled with tissue paper and shipped in a thick cardboard tube. Orders with multiple items will be packaged together to help reduce packaging materials and your shipping costs. 

Image transfers being shipped are securely wrapped in layers of paper and padding (styrofoam or bubble wrap) and shipped within sturdy cardboard. Pieces being delivered in the local area are wrapped in layers of kraft paper.

We try to limit the amount of plastic and packaging we use while ensuring your artworks arrive in perfect condition– opting for recyclable and/or reusable materials, and reused packing materials whenever possible. This is also why we skip the bubble wrap/styrofoam for orders being delivered in-person. 

Shipping Rates - While we’d love to offer free shipping like the big print houses and e-commerce platforms the reality is packaging and shipping is expensive and a significant expense for small businesses like ours. And let’s face it– those folks offering ‘free shipping’ are actually rolling that cost into the product cost.

Prints shipped within Canada and US - $15 flat rate shipping
Prints shipped internationally - $35 flat rate shipping
Image Transfer shipping is set on each individual listing and is based on the size of the piece. If you are purchasing multiple pieces the shipping rate will default to the rate on the largest piece in your order.

RETURNS / DAMAGED ARTWORK

Each print is custom made so there are no returns on prints or image transfers. That said, we want you to love your new artwork!  If your order arrives incorrect or damaged, please let us know within 7-days and we will make it right. Damaged prints will be replaced. Issues with damaged image transfer pieces will be dealt with individually. Whenever possible we will create you a new piece but if a piece is irreplaceable a refund will be issued.

WHOLESALE

If you’d like to stock our prints in your retail store, we’d love to talk to you! Send us an email and we can set up a time to talk.
Wholesale is only available to retailers with physical brick & mortar stores who stock and resell prints. Designers are not eligible for wholesale rates but we have a special Designer Program just for you. See more below.

DESIGNER DISCOUNT PROGRAM

Our Designer Discount Program is available to design professionals including interior designers, decorators, home stagers, set designers, hospitality designers, and art consultants. Once approved for the program, Designers receive a 20% discount on all orders. We also work directly with design professionals to produce custom pieces for their clients.
