Probes
OxyGuard probes are all designed to give trouble-free service.
The extra sealing in OxyGuard pH and redox probes prevents moisture from being a problem, and an impedance converter in the probe eliminates electrical disturbance. There are both light duty and heavy duty versions for immersion, submersion, flow-through and thread-mounting. Our probes come in a variety of cable lengths and options.
Standard Probe
The OxyGuard Standard probe is more accurate, needs less attention and maintenance and has a lower total cost of ownership than any other oxygen or dissolved oxygen probe offered to the aquaculture industry today.
Pacific DO Probe
Every probe comes with a unique serial number for traceability. With the new technology temperature readings are unaffected by resistance in the cable, and no temperature compensation is needed, not even in long cables. Interference of the signal from other equipment is mitigated leading to higher accuracy and stability.
Pacific LDO Probe
OxyGuards new optical oxygen probe is developed in cooperation with world leading experts. Based on luminescence quenching of a sensor dye immobilized on a support foil it can be used for gas measurements as well as for dissolved oxygen (DO).
Model 420 DO
The Model 420 is a membrane covered galvanic oxygen probe with built-in two-wire 4-20 mA transmitter. The probe is connected to a DC supply and draws a current of between 4 and 20 mA corresponding to the oxygen concentration.
pH / Redox Probe
These OxyGuard probes consist of an electrode and an impedance converter inside a twopart housing held together by a threaded collar. There is extra sealing so that the connections at the top of the electrode remain dry even when the probe is completely submersed.
Ozone Sensor
OxyGuards developed ozone sensor is designed specifically for use in aquaculture. The sensor uses an entirely new innovative technology, and the partial pressure of ozone is measured directly without the use of electrolyte, reagents, light, or other traditional methods. As a result, there is almost no maintenance, the probe is exceptionally stable, and the response time is extremely fast.
Temperature Probe with External Thread
OxyGuard temperature probes are robust, accurate and easy to use. They are filled with a special compound that protects against moisture. As standard the probes are fitted with 7 m cable, but they can be supplied with other lengths on request.
Salinity Probe
The OxyGuard Salinity Probe is specially designed for aquaculture use. Factory calibration and automatic temperature compensation make it very easy to use. It is found in two versions. One is a 3-wire 4-20 mA sensor – connect it to 24 VDC and the output varies between 4 and 20 mA according to the salinity. The other has data bus connection for use with OxyGuard Pacific.
Probe for EX Classified Areas
The OxyGuard probe is a membrane covered galvanic cell that generates an electrical signal proportional to the oxygen pressure it senses, no matter which medium it is placed in. The EX version is covered by a stainless steel sheath so that the total non-conductive area is small enough for it to be used in EX classified areas.
Anti Fouling Cap
The OxyGuard Anti-fouling Cap is a cap that inhibits growths on the membrane of OxyGuard Standard Probes, especially probes used in sea water. The cap is essentially the same as the normal cap, but is fitted with a cone made from a specially developed alloy. The cone surrounds the membrane and is effective in inhibiting marine organisms from attaching to and growing on the membrane.
Mini Probe
The OxyGuard Mini Probe is a membrane covered galvanic cell that generates an electrical signal proportional to the oxygen pressure it senses, whether it is placed in water, air, oil, wine etc..
Ocean Probe
This small-size version of the standard OxyGuard dissolved oxygen probe is a membrane-covered galvanic cell that generates its own voltage.
DO Profile
The OxyGuard Profile is a small dissolved oxygen probe with a very fast response time and a short temperature equilibrium time. It is designed specially for profiling measurements in ponds, lakes and the sea. It is (unlike other types of dissolved oxygen probe) NOT sensitive to hydrogen sulfide!
OxyClean Probe Cleaner
The OxyGuard OxyClean is a small attachment with a large effect for use with OxyGuard dissolved oxygen probes. Compressed air is used, and a blast of air of a few seconds is enough to clean deposits from the membrane amazingly efficiently.
