Ellen Ystehede, Costume designer based in Oslo, mainly Head of Design for movies and TV series. Also doing costume design for theatrical productions, commercials and styling. Educated at Central St. Martins College of Arts and Design in London, with a degree in Fine Art/Theatre Design. Best known for a contemporary style, with a keen sense of her surroundingsand human behaviour, but with wide knowledge of fashion history and period style, and with a curious eye for aesthetics and what people from all walks of life are wearing. Her motion picture work is highlighted by the Oscar nominated Joachim Trier movie The Worst Person in The World. TV series work includes Lillyhammer, and modern theatre productions of A Dream Play, Hedda Gabler and Little Eyolf, directed by Sofia Jupither for The National Theatre in Oslo.
