She was able to capture amazing moments for us that we will remember forever! When my daughter was born, I used a few different photographers to get some professional photos of us. They were good sets, but one stood out head and shoulders above the rest: Cami from Bellatrix Photography. She captured time, place and smell in a photo. I look at the pictures she took that first summer and I can feel the sun on my face, smell the fresh grass and that delicious newborn baby smell. The pictures transport me back to that very day. She captures the day, feelings, and the emotion so well, it is like she is a member of our family and always observing us. It is never awkward or strained, it is relaxing and fun and the time goes by so quickly, you wonder if you did enough. Then you see the photo gallery and you see she got so many amazing photos you will never be able to pick just one to frame! We have had sessions with Bellatrix ever since that first summer. I wholeheartedly recommend her for capturing the little windows of your lives.

Cami is the loveliest soul. She was willing to go on a hike with us for our engagement shoot, gave us so much time and helped us feel natural. We didn't feel rushed at all. The wedding day was a lot smaller than what we thought we were gonna do because of Covid but regardless Cami was super patient as we figured out our new plans. The whole process was smooth and easy and both the engagement pictures and the wedding pictures are all amazing!!! PS. Cami even saved our cake from our dog at one point haha. Thanks so much!!!

I drove up from Buffalo NY to meet Cami for personal branding headshots. She was amazing and completely worth the drive! Being a fairly versatile performer, I wanted to work with someone who I thought could capture a wide variety of expressions from me. I love my photos! They are exactly what I was hoping for! Cami has an intimate knowledge of Toronto and was able to take me to multiple places and shoot hundreds of amazing photos in a very short time. She has a lovely demeanor, is very professional, and is extremely helpful and clear in her process. I would definitely recommend her for anyone looking for interesting photos to use professionally, and also for anyone looking to capture special moments in their lives. She travels a lot, so the only thing I would warn about is that it might take a while to set something up. That being said, she contacted me as soon as she had availability and it was really easy to schedule with her at that point. Thank you Cami!!!

We asked Cami to do our engagement shoot and well as our wedding pictures (both in Canada and for our destination wedding in Punta Cana). It was a total of 3 days in Canada and a week in Punta Cana (see took shots throughout the trip in additional to the wedding day/rehearsal and an off-resort shoot). She took absolutely amazing pictures and captured of all our special moments absolutely perfectly. She felt like part of our family for the duration of all these events. We had a wonderful time working with Cami, both during our engagement shoot and our wedding. Our wedding did rain and hail a bit in October, but we still managed to get a lot good photos with family and bridal party despite the weather. As with most weddings there may be little hiccups along the way but Camila was very helpful and at the end of the day provided us with beautiful photos that both us and our families were very pleased with. Cami was the best! My husband and I first got to know her at our engagement photo shoot in High Park. Midt på natten tidligere denne uken, våknet jeg av at jeg fikk en email nettopp fra henne. Tidsforskjell! = ) Da ville hun bare fortelle meg, når jeg minst ventet det, at hun hadde laget en liten video på You Tube med noen av bildene hun hadde tatt av mine mine barn, som jeg er så stolt over. Og i går fikk jeg beskjed om at hun nå sitter å lager verdens flotteste fotobøker til oss, som om hun aldri har gjort noe annet i hele sitt liv enn å gjøre nettopp ting som dette.
Hun er en av disse spesielle og kreative menneskene som gjør det lille ekstra! Et menneske jeg har møtt langs livets vei, som har fotografert de vakreste bilder til oss. Hun har med sine unike og kreative evner skapt minner vi kan ta med oss videre. Fanget små øyeblikk av livet vårt, for at vi alltid skal kunne huske de. Hun tar bilder som bare blir vakrere og vakrere jo mer man ser på de. Cami Mendes er en av de som utgjør en forskjell! En av de unike menneskene man alltid vil huske. Hun klarer å fange opp de små hverdagsglimtene i andres liv, og omgjør de til den flotteste kunstverkene man har sett.
