To The Queen

                                                                                                                April 2019

Dear Madam,

I am writing to ask you if I could visit you someday and also asking for a change to the schools across our countries.  I have always had interest in becoming an excellent leader similar to yourself.

I strive to understand and serve the world. I am appreciative  and grateful for your time and attention.  I  lead other girls in making good choices and trying to change the world positively.  I have enclosed some of the supporting paperwork that will help you understand my role as a rising leader.

I enjoy volunteering a lot in my community and try for 20 hours a month while still maintaining excellent grades and doing sports.  Something that I like to volunteer to raise awareness of is mental health, bullying and suicide awareness.  I am not experiencing any negative issues personally at this moment, but have become aware of many kids in the world that are making bad choices of either hurting themselves or others.  I would like to prevent the preventable tragedies in our school system.

I recently wrote to our US President to consider an idea I have to add a once a week class to all school schedules. I would love it if you would consider my idea as well, for your community.   I think the school counselors should have a 20 minute time period once a week to hold individual classroom discussions on mental health.  We can learn about issues people face and good ways to deal with our feelings and emotions.  We could call it Healthy Minds.  Also, I would be so honoured to be involved n putting this goal into action.  I am interested in how the decision process works for requests such as mine and would enjoy watching how the school system decisions are made. If I could do a job shadow with you or other members of the Royal Family that would be beyond amazing.

Please respond and let me know what you think of my idea.  I am additionally, quite obviously, extremely interested in meeting you, and understanding how the government works from your point of view.

Thank you for the consideration. I strive to lead with honour and grace and would be eternally grateful for an experience with the Royal Family.  I have the honour to be, Madam, Your Majesty's humble and obedient servant. Please help me lead the future of our world.

To Governor

Office of the Governor                                                                            April  2019.

Hello.   I speak out and do events for anti-bullying and suicide awareness.  I am writing to you today to ask for a change in our state.  Suicide is a tragedy that is preventable and is greatly affecting young students.  I would like to be a leader in government like you to make great changes for the state. .

I have written two books that touch on bullying.  I recently completed the QPR program by the QPR Institute. It has a proven way to help prevent the preventable tragedies:  Question, Persuade, Refer.

My first request is that every school have an added counselor so that there can be a once a week 20 minute classroom subject on mental health.  We can call it Healthy Minds.  In the class we can talk about different mental issues and it can be a place for people to talk about bullying.  I feel this would create more respect between students and also raise awareness to all people on signs to watch for.

My second request is a change for all ages.  I feel that the suicide hotline number is long and hard to remember for many people.  Can I please work with you to create a four digit number similar to 911 to make it a well-known and easy way to report or get help when you or a loved one is in desperate need? I like 5483 because it spells LIVE.

I actually have a third request.  I would like to meet you and see what it is like to do your job.  I aim to be leader for our state and country and would really appreciate seeing how you handle things such as a letter like this. If I came to visit your office I may need a note so my Principal knows I am learning.  Thank you for your time, Governor.  You are doing a great job for our state.

To School System

 February 2019

Dear School system,
Hello. I love learning and think I have the best school, principal, and teachers.  I am writing to see if you could help me help the students.

I enjoy volunteering a lot in my community and try for 20 hours a month while still maintaining excellent grades and doing sports.  Something that I like to volunteer to raise awareness of is mental health, bullying and suicide awareness.  I am not currently experiencing any negative issues personally that I need help with, but I have become aware of many kids in the United States that are making bad choices of either hurting themselves or others and I would like to prevent the preventable tragedies in all school systems, starting with ours.

Would you please consider an idea I have? I would like to add a once a week “special”  (we call the classes like art, computers, and gym "specials") to the elementary school schedule.  I think the counselor should have a 20 minute time period once a week to hold a class on mental health.  We can learn about issues people face and good ways to deal with our feelings and emotions.  We could call it Healthy Minds.

By using the counselor  that is already working at the school, you would possibly not have to add another employee.  If the counselor  worked one grade at a time, for five grades, it would be 100 minutes of extra counseling  a week.   But,  if the Healthy Minds class were given per classroom, instead of by grade level, I think those students would be more willing to speak up in a smaller crowd.  I am sure that the counselor would have to work longer hours in order to make plans for each class, and then work even more on any individual student’s issue outside of the Healthy Minds class.  In thinking of the extra hours for the counselor, it makes me think there might be a need for an extra counselor per school.

Although an added employee costs money, I am guessing that our town would vote yes to add another counselor to each school if it means that we would save even one person’s life.  Also, if the public did not vote yes for some reason, I would run a fundraiser for you until I earned enough to pay for the extra counselor’s job.

Please let me know what you think of my idea and I would love to be involved in setting this up.  I am interested in how the decision process works for requests such as mine and would enjoy watching how the school operates outside of the classroom.

Thank you for the consideration.
