Jesse L. Council

Jesse L. Council is a singer and songwriter from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Council grew up in the church, singing in the choir and directing music.

I met Council at Temple University in 2015 and watching his growth of self has been phenomenal. He has grown confident in sharing himself and his art with the world. Council recently came out and realized the power through fully expressing his truth.

He talks about breaking away from old mindsets in his single, Fading Away. His voice reaches out to me with a genuine soul, charisma, and charm. His lyrics pull you closer into his truth and what he is beginning to learn about himself and the world and I've found comfort in listening to his music over and over again, hearing him clearer every single time.
