A dreamlike world – often luxuriant yet pixelated, and therefore with very steep passages and edges – provides the background for certain collage characters, and creates an amazing contrast, capable of conveying certain post-modern features of the image proposed.
A female silhouette invites us into a lost paradise – as if archeologizing the lonely creature, implementing it as a strange response to a possibility. Other times, the sumptuous vitality contrasts with the silhouette or the solidarity with a mere shadow.
The thought of paradise (the quest for the perfect balance) neither leaves Adrian Scicluna while searching for the beauty of child play, nor while showing the transformation undergone by man near the tree in heaven, etc. The colouring is generous, even powerful in some works, and in the structure of the image one may feel the structure of the golden section, without which not even a post-modern paradise can exist.

O lume onirică, adesea luxuriantă (dar pixelată și din acest motiv cu treceri, cu margini foarte abrupte) formează cadrul de desfășurare pentru anumite personaje “colaje” și crează un contrast uimitor, capabil să trimită la anumiți vectori postmoderni ai imaginii propuse.
O siluetă feminină ne invită într-un paradis pierdut… , parcă aduce arheologizând ființa însingurată implementând-o ca un răspuns ciudat al unei posibilăți. Alteori vitalitatea somptuoasă intră în contrast cu silueta sau solidaritatea cu o simplă umbră.
Gândul paradisului (căutarea echilibrului perfect) nu-l părăsește pe Adrian Scicluna nici căutând frumusețea jocului de copii, nici arătând transformarea suferită de om în preajma copacului din rai, etc. Coloritul este generos, chiar puternic în unele lucrări, iar în structura imaginii se simte structura secțiunii de aur, fără de care nici măcar un paradis postmodern nu poate exista.
Autentic, plin de energie, artistul Adrian Scicluna ne dezvăluie preocupările sale: itinerariul sufletului său de la purgatoriu către un paradis… nedigitalizat!
