Racial & Cultural Equity
Realest Exposure is built on the foundation of providing for and supporting Black and Indigenous people of color (BIPOC). We're LGBT+ Black-Owned social enterprise rooted in the BIPOC community and highlights the contributions of BIPOC creatives. We're proud to contribute to the movement towards a more just and equitable world. Realest Exposure, is a social enterprise built upon ideals of liberation, drawing inspiration from the wise words of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, who famously proclaimed that "no one is free until we are all free."
This principle serves as our guiding light, propelling us towards creating an inclusive and equitable society for all.
To combat this injustice head-on, Realest Exposure actively champions anti-racism by continuously incorporating racial equity learning into both our internal structures and external communications. I firmly believe that true change begins internally before it can effectively permeate outwardly.
We recognize the need to address historical disparities faced by queer and trans Black people, Indigenous people, and People of Color (QTBIPOC). It is an unfortunate reality that we have been systematically under-resourced and marginalized in our societies; understanding that societal structures have been designed to favor certain groups while marginalizing others. We recognize the inequities prevalent in our country and the world at large, acknowledging that true progress calls for collective action. Mutual aid, care, and support are essential in addressing the failures of existing institutions.

The Problem
BIPOC artists, entrepreneurs and creatives are often overlooked and underrepresented in many professional spaces.
Despite our immense talents, contributions, and creativity, we often find ourselves sidelined or pushed to the margins. The lack of exposure deprives us of crucial opportunities to connect with potential clients, investors, or collaborators who could propel our careers forward.
This is a systemic problem resulting in a lack of cultural equity.
The consequences reverberate throughout industries where ingenuity should know no boundaries; however, barriers persist due to a failure to acknowledge and celebrate the diverse perspectives that BIPOC artists, entrepreneurs and creatives bring.
Black Americans own 2.2% of employer businesses, Hispanics own 5.3%, Indigenous Americans 0.5%, and Asian Americans own 8.9%. (according to the Minority Business Development Agency)
