Karina Ninni Ramos, Ph.D.
Karina Ninni Ramos, Ph.D., is a journalist with a Masters on Planning for the Development of the Humid Tropics and a PhD in Science (2021). She has been a reporter for three decades, and worked for the largest print media vehicles of Brazil (Folha de S. Paulo, O Estado de S. Paulo. Gazeta Mercantil, Editora Abril, among others). For the past 20 years she has focused on Environment and Energy Production. Karina lived in Amazon (Belém, capital of the State of Pará) for eight years (1998-2006) and worked with communities from the National Forest of Caxiuanã during her Masters course.
