Create a blog
This tutorial will demonstrate the use of our Blog feature, including how to setup your blog, post entries, and manage settings.
Navigate to the Blog Interface
Clicking "Blog" from the main menu will take you to the Blog interface.
Create Your Blog
The Blog Name you choose will be the heading displayed in your site's menu. The Blog Path is what will be appended to your site's URL, e.g. http://www.yourdomain.com/blog
Create your First Post
Click "New Post" to get started.
Add a Title and Text
You can enter text in the grayed out areas - just start typing.
Add an Image Set
Click on "Image Set" to add a set of images to your blog post. This will automatically place the set after your text content. Clicking on "Add" will then prompt you to either upload images from your computer, or import them from other pages on your site.
Choose Display Style
You can click on "Display As" to choose how your images will be displayed on your published blog.
Reposition Image Set
You can mouse-over the left-hand side of the image set to bring up a handle, which you can use to drag and position the image set within your blog post.
Add Video (From YouTube or Vimeo)
Enter the URL from your YouTube or Vimeo video in the highlighted area.
As with image sets, you can also reposition videos within the blog post.
You can click "View" at any time to preview your blog post.
Clicking on "Settings" will present the option to adjust the title of the post as well as it's specific URL.
If you click on "Add tag" you'll be able to tag your posts, which can help organize similar posts, similar to other blogging platforms.
Publish your Post
Click "Publish" to publish your post. All posts are saved as unpublished drafts by default.
Share or Unpublish
After publishing your post, you can either click on the "Share" icon, or mouse-over the "Published" button to have it toggle the "Unpublish" option, in case you wanted to make any revisions.
View Published Posts
Clicking on "Published" in the left-hand menu will display your published posts. Drafts and All Posts will display their corresponding entries.
Edit Blog Design
You'll want to get into the Design to change your blog's style attributes. Click on Design to continue.
Scroll to the bottom of the Theme Editor, and you'll find your Blog's design settings, which you can adjust to your liking. Be sure to use your site's menu to navigate to your blog page to see the changes in the live preview window.
