Concept Development of a project:

from an idea, through camera & light tests to the final results

"Krag & Virkner" TV Series DR1

My role on this project was to create a visual style, a visual movement in colour and light that combined the dramatic parts set back in the 1940s to 1970s with the current-day interviews. A style which I developed with the director, Thure Lindhardt, technical director Mathias Broe, along with our creative and technical teams, and our colourist, Norman Nisbet. We collaborated from the early camera tests in pre-production to shaping light atmospheres on set, to the final stages of colour correction in post-production.

My Moodboard

My mood board for the series depicts the look and story development through atmospheres,

from Episode 1 (left side) to Episode 4 (right side).

WINNER OF THE DANISH TV AWARD 2023

"INNOVATION OF THE YEAR" Krag & Virkner, produced by Monday Production for DR1 and DRTV.

"The jury says: They have succeeded in telling a classic story in a new and original way. It is a well-acted and alluring love story that touches us, and we can sense a real passion for storytelling. The production value is incredibly high, and the interaction between reenactments, archive and the fictional techniques is top notch. It simply blew us away.” (translated from Danish)
