Format is partnering with Kickback, an organization that empowers underserved youth through arts and sports. In August, the 2024 Kickback Portfolio cohort had their first professional opportunity: photographing the Canada Basketball Youth U15 & U17 tournament. We met with the founder of Kickback, Jamal Burger, alumni of the program Nicholas Williams, and 2024 cohort member Aliya Ahmed to talk about youth mentorship, representation, and more.
