Thanks to the magic of the internet, you can now take a course in photography from Harvard without having to pay a cent or even leave the comfort of your bedroom.

Online learning community ALISON is offering a Harvard course in the basics of digital photography, perfect for anyone looking to learn the ins and outs of their DSLR. Called Exposing Digital Photography, the course was originally offered in 2015 at Harvard’s Extension School. The university has now made it publicly available for free to anyone looking to improve their photography skills.

In thirteen learning modules, the course goes over everything from software to understanding histograms and exposure techniques. It’s perfect for someone who’s just getting into digital photography or even more experienced shooters who want to brush up on their technical knowledge.
