“Larry Werner's work is greatly influenced by where he lives. It's inspired by nature, the ocean, and finding beauty in the worn, distressed, rust scarred pieces of wood he collects on the beach. Larry is drawn to the "ugly" stuff. He doesn't cut or alter any of the wood but keeps it the exact way I found it. He finds a real sense of satisfaction in utilizing something most people tend to ignore and putting it together in a different context to create something new and unique. ”
