“Giulia Parlato (b.1993) is an Italian artist based in London, exploring through photography the meanings of history, myths, and object-hood. Her work is influenced by the Arab-Norman Sicilian heritage and aesthetics and Aby Warburg’s studies. She graduated in photography from the London College of Communication in 2016 and from the MA at the Royal College of Arts in 2019. Her work was recently exhibited at Gare Du Nord, during Paris Photo as one of the 4th recipients of Carte Blanche award. ”
